Visual Arts League of Allen

Welcome to the Visual Arts League of Allen,

A vibrant community where human expression blooms, connections are forged and art comes alive. At the heart of our mission are the extraordinarily talented artists and dedicated supporters who fill our spaces with passion and imagination. Every exhibit, workshop and event we host is a celebration of our members - whose diverse voices, unique visions and endless creativity continuously enrich the local cultural landscape..

Behind every masterpiece and gathering is the generous spirit of our volunteers. Their selfless dedication, enthusiasm, and tireless efforts are the invisible brush strokes that paint the foundation of everything we do. Whether you are an accomplished artist, an aspiring creator or someone who simply loves the arts, you belong here. Together, we are building a supportive, inclusive space where art is accessible to all, raw skill finds gentle nurture, and creative passions can truly soar.

Artist of the Month

Fred “Jazz” Ruland

Our very own Fred was voted as artist of the month by the Vampire Ball Attendees.

Special Thanks

Watters Creek donated the space for our Macabre Pop Up and Vampire Ball. The Pop up lasted a week and had a lot of community engagement. People came in and explored the artwork while sharing their own stories of art and life.

Sweet Bris Bakery came out and provided some delicious treats for the evening. She had decadent themed desserts. She is a local baker with amazing decorating skills.

Come See a Collection of Our Best

Dates: November 1st through November 30th

Where: Watters Creek Village, 970 Garden Park Dr, Allen, Tx, 75013

Valaween Vampire Ball

Everyone had a haunting good time at our Vampire Ball. Everyone came out in their scary best! We awarded one lucky lady with best costume. Both artist and volunteer of the month were announced. Fred Ruland is artist of the month and Sheila Cunningham is the volunteer of the month.

Thanks to Ron Jones for providing the ethereal music for the evening.

Old Fashioned Fall

So proud of Aparna for selling a beautiful piece!

We were very excited for our artists to represent our organization at the Allen Heritage Guild’s Old Fashioned Fall. Thanks to Nishu Sinha, Dolly Shah, and Aparna Pottabathni for coming out and enjoying a lovely day with the community. We look forward to many more festivals and events to help connect our members with collectors and locals in our neighbourhoods.
