I am an artist of Indian origin but have lived in Iran and the Middle East. Later, marriage and higher studies brought me to the United States. I have lived in the North Texas area for about twenty years.
My training is in architecture but art has always had a place in my heart.
I got back into painting soon after a health scare in 2015. Since then I have been mastering the art of using oils , specially palette knife painting. I love to paint the natural world especially trees, landscapes and flowers. My paintings are usually a mix of bright colors with textures. I am also inspired by my travels, and trips around the world.
I have participated in art shows and festivals in the Dfw area. I hope to give back to my community through my work with VALA.
